File Preparation

This information applies to sending files on disk, e-mail or FTP. Our file format is RGB JPEG (.jpg) maximum quality in the sRGB colourspace. Please DO NOT use illegal characters in filenames or folder names. Please only use Alphanumeric characters. Please also ensure that you have the correct file extension on your images (.jpg).

For multiple copies of images please prefix the filename with the image quantity. e.g. You wish two copies of Katesmith.jpg. This should be renamed as 2×Katesmith.jpg. Please then create a folder for the image size.

So for 8×8 prints of the image 2×Katesmith.jpg, you would create a folder called 8×8 and copy the 2×Katesmith.jpg file inside. Do the same for each image. If you wish multiple print sizes of the same image, then just copy them into the required folder.

Please make sure your file names do not exceed 30 characters in length.

Please note: ALL files must be cropped to the correct proportions of the final print size. If you have any technical problems with our systems then please email: cs@loxleycolour.com
